Regular office hours are 8:00am to noon and 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. The office is closed on weekends and major holidays.
We have satellite offices in Coldwater, Hastings, and St. Joseph.
Patients are seen by appointment only. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible so another patient can use the appointed time.
Before coming to the office, please check whether you need prescription refills. If so, we will write them for you while you are in the office.
Patients being seen in satellite offices should always call our main office in Kalamazoo (269) 343-1247. Follow up appointments may be scheduled at satellite offices if more convenient for you.
For prescription renewals or information, please call the office during normal business hours.
If you need a prescription renewal, please call one week prior to picking it up.
You can pick up a prescription or have it mailed to you at no charge. Emergency prescriptions or changes in medications will be called in at no charge.
If you have a medical emergency after-hours, please contact our office at (269) 343-1247 and you will be instructed on how to reach our answering service. We have a physician on call 24 hours a day.
Our office staff has been trained to answer most questions. If additional information is needed whem you call, the staff member will talk with your physician and then call you back.

Because there are many different insurance companies, we have two insurance clerks available to assist you. (Satellite offices also call these phone numbers for questions and appointments).

We ask that all copayments be paid at the time of sercice. Rheumatology, PC accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
We will ask to see your insurance card at each office visit. Please have it available. To help us maintain accurate files, please let us know of any changes in insurance, such as adding a secondary insurance. We also ask that you inform us of phone or address changes or a change in employment.
We participate with many insurance plans such as IBA, PHP, BCBS Traditional, HRM, and Medicare. We will file a claim to your insurance company, however if we do not participate with your insurance plan, it is your responsibility to follow up with them regarding payment.
Any copayments are to be paid at the time of your office visit. We will be glad to assist you with problems which may arise, or any concerns you may have regarding your insurance.
In the event that our insurance clerks are unavailable, please leave a message and your call will be returned.
Our medical records staff has been trained to care for not only your personal records, but also your privacy. That is why every time you request a copy of your medical file, we will ask for a signed release to be sent to us. Upon receipt, your request will be given the upmost attention and sent to the physician as soon as possible. If you require your records to be sent to another physician, please feel free to call us at (269) 488-3746. Please allow two weeks for your request to be processed.
