| Steven Cowing is the newest member of Rheumatology, PC. Originally from Jackson County, Steve joined the Army in 1987 as an "Airborne" medic and served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He was later commissioned in 1995 after graduating with distinction from the Army's Physician Assistant training program at Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, TX. He received his Bachelor of Science degree as a Physician Associate from the University of Oklahoma in 1995, and later completed a Master's degree in Family Medicine through the University of Nebraska. Steve has served with the Army as a Physician's Assistant in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Washington State, and has extensive experience in Orthopedics and Family Practice. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants. |
